Cosgrave & Dalgaish Park

PUNCH Consulting Engineers was appointed as Civil & Structural Engineering Designers for this development in Moyross, Co. Limerick.

Cosgrave Park features 50 residential units, comprising 27 houses and 23 apartments. In Dalgaish Park, 27 residential units have been constructed, which include apartments, duplexes, and houses arranged in two and three-storey blocks. The buildings are designed with traditional masonry walls on strip foundations set on lean mix to rock, along with precast floors dividing duplexes and apartments, and prefabricated timber truss roof frames. Retaining walls were necessary to manage the current site levels in Cosgrave Park.

Civil works in both Cosgrave and Dalgaish Park involved upgrading and rerouting foul sewers and surface water drainage, along with providing vehicular and pedestrian access, roads, footpaths, and car parking spaces.

Additionally, the project included the realignment of Moyross Avenue, which involved the installation of a new storm sewer and a 500mm diameter ductile iron trunk water main.
